THE VISIT OF THE HANDICRAFT ASSOCIATION DE PAMIRI AND NEW FELT PRODUCTS FROM ZERAFSHAN

In the end of April – beginning of May Kamol Alamshoev and Yorali Berdov were the honorable guests in the Zerafshan Valley. During three weeks specialists of De Pamiri were working with more than 40 handcrafters from two jamoats Shing and Voru to produce the new felt products.
Yorali Berdov during two day training shared the experienced of De Pamiri in forming the price of the products and what kinds of products have more demand among the tourists.
During two week workshop Kamol Alamshoev has showed how to process the wool and work with felt to design high quality products. Felt toys, house shoes and felt mats were results of the workshop.
The new products will be presented and available on the Spring Hanidcraft Fair organized by Bactria Cultural Centre and US Embassy in Dushanbe on the 29th – 30th of May in the Botanical Garden in Dushanbe.
