BOOKING CONDITIONS

Payment
In order to secure the booking ZTDA requires a 50% of the tour price which must be paid not later than 7 days from the day of acceptance of ZTDA tour offer, failing which ZTDA reserves the right to deem the booking as having been cancelled.
The client is required to send ZTDA via e-mail proof of the payment made (official bank receipt).
For short-term bookings (less than 7 days prior departure) clients are required to pay the full amount of the tour on the tour starting day.

Cancellation
Cancellations are effective on the date written notice is received via e-mail in our office during normal business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
If the refund is acceptable and adheres to the reservation cancellation policies, the client will be refunded with the proper amount.
 
Cancellation of a booking or part thereof will incur the following fees:
Cancellation prior to 30 days of the tour will be refunded all moneys paid less a $50 handling fee per person.
Cancellations less than 30 days before the tour will forfeit the whole deposit of the tour.
 
Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be made for any unused services and clients will be responsible for their travel arrangements from that point onward.
Premature departure from accommodation(s) will be treated as forfeited cancellation(s) and no refunds will be administered.
 
Liability
Whilst we make every effort to safeguard our passengers, ZTDA cannot be held liable for any damage, injury, or loss of any kind caused by or resulting from any act or omission by its employees, agents or contractors. ZTDA also assumes no responsibility for any act of negligence, act or omission whatsoever by any company whose services are used as part of packages provided including but not limited to activity and accommodation providers. 
 
Force Majeure
Unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to war, mechanical breakdowns, weather, riots and other unforeseen reasons beyond the control of ZTDA may cause delays or alterations to the tour. ZTDA shall not be held liable in any way for any of these possible occurrences or any consequences, which may arise as a result of these. Components of trips are weather dependant and ZTDA cannot be held liable if trip components are not available on the day of travel.
ZTDA reserves the right to cancel or reroute any tour due to acts of nature, trail conditions, insufficient number of participants or unforeseen circumstances that would hinder our ability to run a trip. If ZTDA is unable to provide you with another trip that is satisfactory, all moneys paid will be refunded and shall constitute full settlement with you.
ZTDA is not responsible for any additional expenses that may be incurred by a guest in relation to a cancelled tour including costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations, sickness and non-refundable air tickets and/or any penalties associated with such tickets.
In the unfortunate event that a traveler should become ill during vacation or find it necessary to cut the vacation short, all hospital, medical, accommodations and transportation expenses are the traveler's responsibility.
 
Behavior
By travelling with ZTDA you agree to accept the authority of the guide and accept their decisions. Any threats to safety being physical or verbal or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the trip.
 
Passports, visas and other travel papers
It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, health certificates, proof of vaccinations and any other required documentation are all in order for the countries to be visited during the tour.
 
Insurance
All clients are strongly urged to take out adequate traveler's insurance coverage to protect themselves against cancellation due to illness, flight cancellations, or emergencies.
Comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance is the client’s responsibility before embarking on
the tour.
The client acknowledges that the travel insurance must include comprehensive medical insurance including provision for air evacuation, and that ZTDA shall not be liable for any consequences, damages or loss as a result of the client failing to have the necessary cover.
 
Baggage
The client shall be responsible for all baggage and personal effects brought by him or her on the tour, and ZTDA shall not be liable for any loss or damage to such baggage or personal effects, howsoever arising.
